This policy covers the Pera app for iPhone (listed on the App Store as "Pera: Perimenopause & HRT") and this website.

1. Overview

Pera ("we," "our," or "us") is designed so that your entries stay with you. We do not collect them and we cannot see them.

2. Data Storage & Collection

Stored on Your Device: Everything you enter in Pera (including symptom scores, mood, sleep, daily logs, and the name and medication you add in Settings) is stored on your iPhone. If you use iPhone backup, it is also included in your own backup, like other app data. We do not operate servers, cloud databases, or remote storage for your entries.
No Account Required: You do not need to create an account or provide personal identifying information to use Pera.
PDF Export: When you export a PDF summary for your healthcare provider, the document is generated on your device. It goes only where you choose to send it.
Reminders: The optional daily reminder is a local notification scheduled on your device.

3. Third-Party Services & Analytics

We do not sell, rent, share, or monetize your health data. The app contains no analytics, advertising, or tracking software. Any purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store; we do not receive your payment details.

4. Data Retention & Deletion

Deleting the Pera app removes its data from your device. An iPhone backup you created earlier may still contain it.

5. This Website and Email

This website is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as your IP address in order to deliver the pages. We add no analytics, advertising, or tracking to the site.

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write, and we use them only to answer you. Please do not include health details in your email.
